Where has the time gone?

Well, it has been just shy of a month since I last posted. WOW! I can't believe it. The past month + has been nonstop. We are slowly moving forward after losing Jerry's mom. This is not an easy thing. James is having some issues dealing with all of these losses. Hospice is visiting him once a week at school to try to help him reconcile his feelings, thoughts, emotions. We closed on our new home... very exciting and have moved in. The boxes surround us, but happiness is even more abundant! We needed this positive forward motion. Actually, I think it has helped Jerry's family to move forward too! Kathy helped us move in. We would have been lost without her! Scott, Peggy, Tim, Megan and Tommy... and Kathy, helped us pack the moving truck. I don't think we would have been able to do that alone!! Scott and Peggy and the kids have stopped by. It was such a nice visit. Mary's parents spent Saturday helping hang window treatments, put our bed together... and most importantly ( to me) assemble Madeline's crib! That is really the first step towards bringing our baby home.

CCAA has begun to slow down the referral process. We thought we would be about half way to referral by now.. but nope. CCAA is moving towards a 10-12 month wait. We have three months down. So... best case scenario is 7 more months... worst case... I can't even think about! We really hope our wait will be less than 10 months... but that is because we are so excited about finding out exactly who are little Madeline is. We accept the changes from CCAA, but don't like them. Everyone says, your baby isn't ready yet... Booo Hissss! I don't like that answer. I am more the I WANT HER NOW, kinda gal!

Only this week and next until Winter Break. Hopefully we can get completed settled into our home during the break. We LOVE the house... we LOVE the space! we LOVE the fact that we have been so blessed with the opportunity to build this house.
