Welcome to our family blog! We hope you enjoy reading about our journey to bring Madeline home from China. We are now a family of 5!! Our dossier went to China on July 22, 2005 and logged in on August 24, 2005. We received our referral on November 2, 2006. We traveled to China on December 20, 2006 and returned home January 5, 2007! Let the games begin!!

My girls, twins, adopted from Taiwan, are three days older than Maddie.
I'm from Syracuse (and down the road from Ithaca (i think you had a typo..you wrote "Ethica") and my dad went to SU too. He was also hearing impaired, but not profoundly.
I lived in Tampa for 20 years.. moved to CA in 2003 after my son graduated from Blake High on N. Blvd (the performing arts school)
my husband is Chinese, so like yours, we are a American-Chinese household.
We plan to adopt another child, a boy. And oddly, Riley was a top contender for the name of choice until my almost 3 year old, Kyra, decided his name would be "Steve" and it's kinda grown on us...
you and I have a lot in common! :)
